Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 June 2026

Welcome to EMORA. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EMORA app and related services ("EMORA", "Service"). By creating an account or using EMORA, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Not medical or emergency care. EMORA is a supportive wellbeing companion for general emotional support and reflection. It does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. If you are experiencing a crisis or emergency, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

You must be at least 18 years old to use EMORA. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

3. Acceptable use

4. AI-generated content

EMORA's voice and text responses, insights, and reflections are generated by automated AI systems. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited to your situation. Use your own judgment and consult appropriate professionals for important decisions.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create (your messages, journals, and reflections). You grant EMORA a limited licence to process this content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that EMORA will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMORA and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made in reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
